Femi Bajomo
Managing Director
Femi has over 30 years’ experience in oil and gas operations, business development, portfolio management, contract negotiations, and asset management. Between 2005 and 2010, he was a Vice President at BG Group with responsibilities for commercial, business development and venture management for upstream licenses, midstream opportunities, and LNG development for their Nigerian assets.
Between October 1980 and August 2005, he worked for the Shell Group in Nigeria, and across various international locations in Africa, London, and the Netherlands. He was the Managing Director of Shell Exploration and Production Namibia and Namibia Country Chairman between 1999 and 2003.
Between 1994 and 1996, he was the Chief Petroleum Engineer responsible for managing the hydrocarbon resource base of 12 producing and 8 non-producing fields, with oil reserves of about 1,100mmbbls and production of c.150,000bopd, in the Western Division of Shell Nigeria in Warri, where OML 26 is located.
Femi holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife, Nigeria; an MSc in Engineering Production and Management from the University of Birmingham, UK; and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Certified Accountants in the UK.
